My Philosophy of Care

I approach my clients with gentleness and kindness. I honor their body, mind and soul and respect the vulnerability they show me and make them feel at ease. I never ask weight related questions, I always ask consent for the work plan I have for the appointment and validate consent when I'm changing to a new zone to work on. I validate many times during any appintment to make sure my clients are comfortable and at ease and I answer any questions they might have. I always let people feel the emotions that can come up during an appointment, I give reassurance, presence and I listen to anything they need to communicate.

About Me & My Practice

I had to receive massage therapy starting at a young age and decided a few years ago that I wanted to help people myself. The HEAS movement made sense for me since I've always considered respect and inclusivity and important part of being a human and I've done voluntary work for in a association for neurodiverse people, I did a course with University de Montréal in transdiversity and did a course in college on gender and sexual identity, I have been educating myself on how to deconstruct internalized racism and colonialism. As a fat woman, I chose to be even more mindful of how to make other fat people respected and comfortable. As person on the AUDHD spectrum, that lives with trauma and survived depression, I make it a priority to be a safe space for anyone who needs it! I love educating people on things I hold dear in my heart, and what I am passionate about.

Accessibility Considerations

If people book an appointment with me in Marieville, they have to go up an important flight of stairs, wich will not be a problem when I'll have my new location. If people book an appointment in Candiac, we have an elevator and larger chairs that don't have arm rests to be more comfortable.
