My Philosophy of Care
I offer compassionate nutrition education and counseling for people seeking support with eating disorders, disordered eating, and non-diet approaches to health. I am passionate about helping clients break free from the cycle of chronic dieting, heal from disordered eating, make empowered food choices that support health, and decrease body shame. With a client-led approach, I practice from an anti-diet and weight-neutral perspective, incorporating concepts from Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size. I strive to build therapeutic relationships with clients that are grounded in trust, transparency, and mutual respect.
About Me & My Practice
I have been able to support adolescents and adults in their eating disorder recovery all levels of care and across eating disorder diagnoses. As an eating disorder registered dietitian, I help clients improve their health and quality of life by focusing on their relationships with food, body, and movement, NOT weight. It is very important to me that clients understand that they can pursue health-promoting behaviors without needing to pursue weight loss. It is also important to me that clients understand that their picture of health can be different from somebody else's.
Accessibility Considerations
At this time, I see clients via telehealth only.
