My Philosophy of Care
I have been practicing acupuncture for over 20 years. When I work with someone, I focus on your needs. I consider myself a partner in your care. Whether you are seeking relief from pain or want a helpful ally in managing a chronic illness that will not change, I honor that. I have a deep understanding of the way that trauma, systemic injustices and prejudice affect the body and mental health and provide a safe space for you to talk about your experiences. Being a HAES provider means that I do not treat body size as a measure for health nor do I recommend any modalities that may negatively impact someone's relationship to food and/or their body.
About Me & My Practice
I have been working in the holistic health field for over 20 years. I work with folks of all sizes and identities. From the beginning of my studies, I have focused on a health at every size approach. One of my favorite things about the modality I practice, acupuncture, is that it helps restore a sense of safety and comfort within the body. This is powerful for folks who have been encouraged to judge and disconnect from their body. I am well-versed in all types of holistic care and can help my patients decipher what is valid and what is gussied up anti-Fat suggestions.

Our clinic is wheelchair accessible. All of our staff are trained in a HAES and gender affirming approach.
