My Philosophy of Care
I approach every client with as much care and compassion as I would hope to receive myself. I believe that every client deserves individualized, culturally competent, collaborative, affirming and supportive care. I pride myself in working hard to care for the 'whole' person - not just the physical body sitting in front of me. Health is so much more than a number on a scale or diagnosis. I believe that health looks different for every person, and it is an honor to explore this with my clients.
I have always valued lived experience as one of the most important puzzle pieces to caring for a person. I want to hear my client's stories, and learn about all of the intersecting parts of their health story - so that I can best support them. I believe that weight neutral, fat positive care is the ONLY option in nutrition therapy.
Being a Health at Every Size® Provider means patient centered care - always. This is non-negotiable. I am not in this work to push my own agenda with clients - rather - I'm here to support them in this messy thing we call: life! As a HAES® provider, I yearn to help clients unravel the harmful, untrue stories they've been told about their bodies and their health... and create a new story that serves them better.

About Me & My Practice
I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) with a passion for helping others rediscover their body's natural intuition and balance. I believe each individual client is an expert on their own body - and I support each client in attuning to their inner wisdom. As an anti-diet dietitian, I practice with an Intuitive Eating®, Health at Every Size® (HAES®), weight-inclusive/fat positive and gentle nutrition focus. I own a private practice located in Florida (licensed in FL & GA) that primarily serves humans (all genders!) with eating disorders and seeking weight-inclusive nutrition support (MNT, or medical nutrition therapy). I've pursued private practice for the very reason that it allows me the flexibility to not waver on my beliefs that all bodies deserve equitable and competent nutrition therapy and support.
I was first introduced to HAES® back in 2017 while in grad school pursuing my Master's degree in Nutrition. I've worked in this field for 5+ years, and continue to pursue regular individual and group supervision and continuing education, to unlearn my own biases and better serve my clients. I've pursued training in trauma-, gender- and neurodiversity - affirming care, as well anti-racism work (ex: BIPOC ED conference). I continue to seek out trainings and supervision from individuals that align with the values of HAES®.
