My Philosophy of Care
Weight inclusive nutrition therapy is routinely applied to eating disorder recovery, breaking the cycle of diet-culture-based eating patterns and belief systems, embodiment and body image challenges, diabetes care, cardiovascular health, digestive support, and navigating food allergies and intolerances.
My nutrition counseling style is gentle yet direct, calming yet inspiring. I incorporate intersectional feminism, Health At Every Size® Principles, fat liberation and affirmation, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, self-compassion, Intuitive Eating, Body Trust®, and embodiment practices with every session.
My goal with each client is to share tools, teachings, and experiences in a reflective space to cultivate a more harmonious embodied life with food and body.
Sessions often explore topics like agency and autonomy, attunement disruptors, senses of safety, and re-authoring stories about food and bodies all while honoring the client's innate wisdom and knowing.

About Me & My Practice
Over the past 13 years, I’ve offered nutrition counseling across inpatient and outpatient settings, growing deeper roots in weight-inclusive care with each year. Witnessing the harm of weight stigma in healthcare is both painful and morally injurious. In 2015, I dove deeper into Health At Every Size®, began unlearning internalized beliefs, and started practicing in a way that was values aligned. From that growth, Sage Wisdom Nutrition emerged.
The Health At Every Size® framework profoundly guides my work. It means I get to meet my clients with kindness, respect, and reverence. It is values aligned care with integrity and fierce compassion. I am honored to deeply listen to my clients stories and center their lived experience and wisdom. Addressing the baked in body bias that has been passed along to us is a reckoning moment; inviting us to hold rich conversations, explorations, and empowering change towards greater embodiment and freedom practices - for every body.
Currently, I support clients and clinicians through 1:1 nutrition counseling, Nutrition Coaching for Caregivers, and clinical supervision. All are grounded in a belief that bodies are not the problem—and that collective liberation includes freedom from weight stigma and body bias, especially in healthcare.
I’m neurodivergent with invisible chronic illness, a metaphor thinker, and lover of groovy moody music, soul gazing at nature, and oddly specific memes.
