My Philosophy of Care

As a deeply humanistic therapist, my work is grounded in the belief that each person is inherently worthy, valuable, and capable of growth. I view personal growth as a journey — that honors your lived experience; utilizing your strengths, to foster resilience through balance, meaningful connection and your relationship with yourself. In our work together, we will explore how past influences and events shape your current life. Processing these experiences in a non-judgmental, safe space can provide valuable insight that aid clients in distinguishing between helpful and less helpful patterns in their daily lives. I am a strong advocate for authenticity and radical self-acceptance. My practice is explicitly affirming of people of all body sizes, gender identities, sexual orientations, and abilities. I strive to co-create a space where you can show up fully as your authentic self. Therapy with me is a collaborative, non-pathologizing process. You are the expert on your own life, and I am here as a supportive guide — curious, open, and deeply respectful of your story. Together, we can work toward goals that you set, process historical events and explore your current life within the context of your lived experience.

About Me & My Practice

I have always been a person that others open up to about their experiences. Consistently hearing individual struggles around self-acceptance, self-worth and fears around abandonment made me realize the universal nature of many of these challenges. This paired with genuine curiosity around each individuals unique circumstances led me to pursue a career in supportive counseling. Currently, I work with individuals and groups to help reframe how we think and feel about ourselves and our bodies. My group work focuses on supporting, and processing the experiences, barriers, and feelings that come up around exploring joyful movement. While my individual work focuses on navigating anxiety, increasing self-acceptance and living authentically.
