My Philosophy of Care

As a BIPOC therapist, I am passionate about providing anti-oppressive, culturally-sensitive therapy for people who have experienced discrimination or racial trauma and have a special interest in working with Asian and Indigenous populations. I am a strong believer that your identity is inseparable from your experiences. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative relationship, which is why I approach therapy from a place of safety, curiosity, and honesty. My therapeutic perspective draws from feminism, multiculturalism and intersectionality. I am LGBTQ+, polyamory, and sex worker friendly and provide a non-judgemental environment for all of my clients.

About Me & My Practice

I strive to create a non-judgemental, validating space for individuals to explore their thoughts and emotions. I use an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from therapeutic models that foster strength, acceptance, and change such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and EMDR. I have worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, emotion dysregulation, Autism, and trauma. The majority of my experience is with adolescents and young adults, but I welcome individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

Accessibility Considerations

My office is located in a second-floor unit that is wheelchair inaccessible. There are stairs leading up to the door that include a wide hallway.
