My Philosophy of Care
My philosophy is rooted in a relational alliance where humor and curiosity help us process a rigid world. I move away from the "blank slate" model to show up as a real human in the room. I view health through a systemic lens, recognizing that many "symptoms" are actually logical responses to environments or family patterns that asked you to be "less." My goal is to help you unmask the version of yourself traded for safety and reclaim a life that honors your actual capacity over societal output. Using Psychodynamic and Feminist frameworks, I provide a weight-neutral safe harbor to dismantle internalized diet culture. I specifically apply the HAES® framework by helping clients navigate medical fatphobia and find vetted, weight-neutral providers. Whether we are using neuro-inclusive coaching or intuitive tools, my approach is always depth-oriented, equitable, and focused on the reclamation of your joy.
About Me & My Practice
I am a late-diagnosed ADHDer, an eldest daughter, and a firm believer that individual healing is a radical act of collective liberation. My journey began a decade ago during my own recovery, leading me to realize that healing and social justice are inseparable. As a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and an ADHD-CCSP, I specialize in the intersection of neurodivergence and body sovereignty. I founded Weave The Path as a sanctuary where the "sacred" and the "scientific" coexist; a portion of every session fee supports mutual aid via the East Nashville Care Market. Operating from a HAES® lens for over 10 years, I am committed to the care of fat and superfat+ individuals. Outside the office, I am a yoga and aerial enthusiast, gardener, and tarot reader who finds grounding in nature and seasonal rituals. My work is rooted in your liberation and the right to take up space.
Accessibility Considerations
My practice is designed to honor the diverse physical, sensory, and privacy needs of all bodies. For in-person sessions, my office is fully ADA-accessible with wide hallways, no stairs, and gender-neutral restrooms. To ensure comfort for folks of all sizes, my seating options include high-weight-limit furniture, including a spacious loveseat, armless chairs, and floor seating. I prioritize a sensory-friendly environment; I provide soft, non-overhead lighting and have fidgets, warm drinks, and snacks available to support your grounding.
To protect your autonomy, I do not utilize weigh-ins, BMI-flagging, or weight-centric charting. For those who find movement supportive for emotional processing, my "Walk and Talk" sessions utilize paved, flat, wheelchair-accessible paths with nearby handicapped parking. I also provide virtual care for those who prefer the accessibility of their own environment. I am committed to gender-affirming, neuro-inclusive care where your body and your right to take up space are fully respected.
