My Philosophy of Care
My philosophy of care is grounded in compassion, respect, and the belief that healing begins with being truly seen. I work from a trauma-informed, person-centered perspective, creating a safe space for clients to process grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, complex PTSD, narcissistic abuse, and eating struggles. I integrate Brainspotting with DBT, ACT, IFS, and somatic practices to support both deep healing and practical tools for change.
As a Health at Every Size® provider, I affirm that all bodies are worthy of dignity, care, and respect. I reject weight stigma and help clients build trust in their bodies, define health on their own terms, and move toward more compassionate self-connection. My goal is to walk alongside clients as they release shame and rediscover resilience, balance, and hope.

About Me & My Practice
I came to this work not only through my professional training but also through my lived experience. As the mom of a teen with an eating disorder, I’ve witnessed firsthand how weight stigma and harmful cultural messages can wound young people and families. As a fat woman myself, I’ve also experienced medical fatphobia and know the lasting impact it can have on one’s health, self-image, and trust in care providers. These experiences fuel my passion for practicing from a Health at Every Size® perspective, where every body is treated with dignity and compassion.
My practice is a safe, judgment-free space for clients — especially those in fat and superfat+ bodies — to explore healing from trauma, anxiety, depression, complex PTSD, eating struggles, and narcissistic abuse without the pressure of weight-based expectations. I combine Brainspotting and trauma-informed approaches with advocacy for more equitable, compassionate healthcare.
