My Philosophy of Care
As a certified personal trainer and non-diet life coach, I approach my work through a Health at Every Size® lens, with a deep commitment to body liberation, size inclusivity, and client-led care. I specialize in working with folks who have often been excluded from or harmed by traditional fitness and wellness spaces—particularly neurodivergent individuals, people living with chronic illness or pain, and queer and nonbinary folks.
My coaching is trauma-informed, body-neutral, and rooted in the belief that every body is worthy of respect and care—regardless of size, ability, or consistency. I help clients rebuild trust with their bodies by centering autonomy, honoring interoceptive cues, and co-creating movement practices that align with their lived experiences. Instead of prescribing one-size-fits-all routines, I support clients in defining what strength, vitality, and well-being mean to them—on their own terms.
Being a HAES®-aligned provider means holding space for complexity, challenging dominant narratives about health and ability, and prioritizing emotional safety alongside physical care. My role is not to fix or correct, but to accompany each client with radical compassion, evidence-informed guidance, and unwavering respect for their self-knowledge.

About Me & My Practice
I came to this work because I couldn’t find the kind of fitness support I needed—so I became the coach I was looking for. As a lifelong athlete and a (small) fat woman, I’ve spent decades in and around gyms navigating the tension between loving movement and feeling alienated by the culture surrounding it. I became a NASM-certified personal trainer and certified non-diet coach not to fix bodies, but to create a space where people could reconnect with theirs—on their own terms.
I’ve practiced from a Health at Every Size® lens since the beginning of my career in 2020. My approach is explicitly anti-coercive, body-neutral, and client-led. I work primarily with women and nonbinary folks who’ve been harmed by mainstream fitness and wellness culture, including fat clients, neurodivergent folks, people living with chronic illness, and those recovering from disordered movement and body shame.
I actively advocate against weight stigma by educating my audience, challenging industry norms, and offering radically inclusive alternatives that center consent, care, and autonomy. Outside of work, I’m obsessed with walking around my beloved city of Chicago, dancing to Beyoncé, and going to drag shows. #ProtectQueerArt

Accessibility Considerations
As an exclusively online practice, there are no physical accessibility barriers such as weight limits, seating, or equipment. However, I am committed to creating an inclusive and affirming virtual space for all clients. All communication is size-affirming, trauma-informed, and aligned with Health at Every Size® principles. I welcome feedback to improve digital accessibility and offer accommodations such as camera-optional sessions, flexible scheduling, and asynchronous support when needed. Gender-affirming practices and client autonomy are prioritized in every interaction.
