My Philosophy of Care

I whole-heartedly believe that health is more than just focusing on food- it’s mental health, rest, connection, creativity, and physical health. My approach combines the principles of Intuitive Eating, Health At Every Size ® framework, evidence-based nutrition, stress management, joyful movement, and honoring cultural traditions. I collaborate and support others through their unique journey of rediscovering the joy in eating-without going on another diet. My goal as a dietitian, is to help my clients create a joyful life with sustainable health, peace, and balance.

About Me & My Practice

I am a second generation, Vietnamese-American dietitian & Certified Inuitive Eating Counselor, based in Dallas, TX. I grew up having a love of my cultural foods, which is an important part of who I am. I loved learning about food so much that I decided to become a dietitian and support others in their nutritional health journey. Central to my practice is the belief that people of all sizes deserve compassionate and respectful care. I am mindful of the stigma and discrimination that those in larger bodies often face in healthcare settings. I work to create a safe and affirming space where they feel valued and heard. In my approach to nutrition counseling, I encourage clients to explore how their cultural food can be enjoyed in a way that honors their heritage while also supporting their health goals. By promoting this non-diet approach, I empower clients to develop a healthier relationship with food and their bodies, rooted in self-acceptance and self-care, while also celebrating the diversity of their cultural heritage.

Accessibility Considerations
