My Philosophy of Care

I have been building relationships with people in a one-on-one nutritional counseling setting for the past 15 years. This environment has allowed me to connect to people on a deeper level. Providing an open and non-judgmental space for people in the medical system is extremely important to me. I believe that an individual gets to determine how they want to engage in health and what health means to them. I’m here to provide support and space to collaborate towards the goals they hold for themselves. They are the experts of their body and their experience. Honoring this is essential to providing inclusive care.

About Me & My Practice

I have been practicing in a HAES® aligned way for about 7 years. Seeing how each person has a unique relationship to food, body, and their health has been humbling to me professionally and personally. I’m so lucky to have the time and space to learn about the hopes and desires that people have for themselves. This makes my job rewarding and energizing. I live in Massachusetts with my husband, kids, and cats. We are busy with kid activities and frequently traveling to visit extended family and friends.

Accessibility Considerations

All furniture in our offices are suitable for all sized bodies. All offices are handicap accessible. Our bathrooms are all gender. The reception staff has had trainings on inclusive language and ways to reduce stigma. We have hidden scales in the office that are very infrequently needed.
