My Philosophy of Care
I am a dietitian that specializes in eating disorders and disordered eating. I use the approach of intuitive eating to help heal people's relationships with food and body. I believe that practicing through a HAES® lens is an important part of establishing and healing one's relationship with their body and health.
Eating disorders and disordered eating wants to disconnect us from our bodies and diet culture has endless messages about how to trick, silence and hack our body's natural cues like hunger, fullness and satisfaction. I help people not only recover these cues, but also see that these natural signals are an immensely helpful tool in freeing up the space and energy to live the life they want to live.
I believe that intuitive eating is more than just learning how to eat sans diet culture messaging, but also how to free ones self to live a life rich with messiness, trust and creativity.

About Me & My Practice
I have lived my whole life in California and currently reside in San Francisco with my partner and our pup.
For a little bit about my own personal journey, it started with dieting/disordered eating that eventually led to an eating disorder. When I went on to college and started my degree to become a dietitian, I started learning how to help others heal, and in the process started learning how to heal for myself.
For a long time I excluded myself from the recovery community, thinking that because I never received “formal” treatment that meant that my disorder was never “that bad”.
Now I help people with all sorts of histories including those who are not formally diagnosed to those who are, and those who have been in high levels of ED care and those who have not received any help prior to working with me.
I am passionate about helping people with their eating disorder/disordered eating recovery because I have experienced how life-changing it has been for me. Because I recovered in a nonconventional way but also worked in more conventional eating disorder settings, I have a wide variety of knowledge and comfort with different approaches and modalities that each individual person needs.
