My Philosophy of Care
I believe that all bodies are good bodies! I oppose weight-centric approaches to healthcare and practice from a HAES® and fat-positive perspective.
Many clients I support experience parts of themselves that hold anti-fat bias or internalized anti-fatness. I am passionate about meeting client's where they are, while helping them to untangle from the violence and oppression of anti-fat bias and white-supremacy. My goal is to empower client's to nourish themselves fully, unlearn unhelpful social messages, and embrace their bodies as they are and throughout changes.

About Me & My Practice
I am an attachment-oritented and liberation-oriented mental health therapist that works from a Health at Every Size® and fat-positive framework. I am LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent affirming.
I have a background supporting research on eating disorders and body image, where I focused on identifying interventions to decrease weight-stigma. I also spent six years working in an eating disorder treatment center, where I advocated for size-inclusivity and educated staff and clients about Health at Every Size® principles and LGBTQIA+-affirming care. While higher levels of care can be life-saving for many, I also recognize that they are also often sources of trauma, especially for fat folks and those with oppressed identities.

Accessibility Considerations
My current In-person office is not ADA accessible and requires stairs to enter the building. Telehealth services are also available.
