My Philosophy of Care

Through an all-foods-fit, trauma informed, weight inclusive approach, we will work with you to explore your relationship with food and your body. In working with a dietitian at Tribeca Nutrition, you will have a safe, non-judgmental space to explore how food and nutrition impact your overall well being. We provide an individualized approach and aim to meet clients where they are, and work with them on their individual goals. We look forward to helping you on your journey towards peace with food.

About Me & My Practice

Rebecca’s expertise is treating people with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Orthorexia, and ARFID. She has extensive experience treating eating disorders in higher levels of care including partial hospitalization programs and intensive outpatient programming. Rebecca has served as the director of Nutrition programming at mental health and substance abuse treatment centers and is well versed in working with clients with any psychiatric diagnosis not limited to Eating Disorders.

Rebecca worked as the on campus Dietitian at Barnard college at Columbia University where she provided individual nutrition counseling to students and sat on the Eating Disorder team. As an Eating Disorder team member, Rebecca created protocols and policy to ensure students on campus received appropriate medical, nutrition, and psychiatric care.

Rebecca currently leads the nutrition department at American Ballet Theatre and the ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School; a pre-professional ballet training program for students, ages 12-18. Rebecca advises on the wellness team, creates nutrition education programming, and provides one on one screening and nutrition counseling sessions to dancers. Rebecca previously worked with NYC Ballet and School of American Ballet. Rebecca is passionate about providing nutrition support to dancers to help them nourish their bodies to perform their best, prevent injury, and sustain rigorous training schedules.
