My Philosophy of Care

I specialize in intuitive eating and weight-inclusive care for kids, adults and families. I offer personal attention and compassionate care for the whole family, and I believe in the Health at Every Size (HAES) approach to treat all with dignity and respect no matter your body shape or size. I specialize in medical nutrition therapy & counseling for: intuitive eating, eating disorders / disordered eating, child nutrition concerns, picky eating, child growth or weight concerns, infant nutrition (breast/chest/bottle feeding, starting solid foods), ASD, and ADHD.

About Me & My Practice

I'm a dietitian, but I don't believe in dieting. Instead of focusing on weight loss, I help people develop a healthy relationship with food, enjoy all foods without guilt, and trust & appreciate their body. All bodies deserve dignity and respect. I help people reach their health goals, without focusing on the number on the scale. In addition to being a Registered Dietitian, I am also a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, and have training in eating disorders, responsive feeding, neurodiversity-affirming and gender-affirming care.

Accessibility Considerations

I am currently offering virtual appointments only. For most clients, I do not request weight information and do not perform weight checks. For clients where weight checks might be appropriate (ex: for eating disorder treatment), I ask for consent prior and will honor requests like blind weights.
