About ASDAH Membership
ASDAH Members are committed to learning what health education leaves out about health and weight in order to create health equity for fat people. Become an ASDAH member to learn from those most impacted by medical fatphobia through a lens of liberation. Our team is made up of Black, fat, queer, gender diverse, and disabled leaders who prioritize learning from Black, fat thought-leaders in health justice. Join us if you support the Mission, Vision, and Values of ASDAH, and your work and/or personal life as a professional or advocate is in alignment with the Health At Every Size® (HAES®) Principles.
Our Membership Model - Reduced Rates Now Available!
We offer three types of membership:
- Professional Membership (individual membership)
- Student, Community, and Retiree Membership (individual membership)
- Organizational Membership (group professional membership)
Each membership type has different access and perks, but all memberships can access all monthly ASDAH events at no additional cost! Our goal is to be remain as accessible as possible while still maintaining our values of paying people for their labor and offering high-quality, liberation-based content. To support this goal, we offer reduced rate memberships for a variety of groups, including low-income; emerging professionals; and Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC).

Professional Membership ($245 USD Full Rate / $450 USD Accomplice Rate)
- Access to all monthly education, member, and community events at no additional cost

- Opportunity for up to 6 new Continuing Education Credits annually through CDR or a Certificate of Attendance to support individual CE/CEU submissions + over 13 CEU opportunities in the member recording library
- Opportunity to apply for a profile on the Health at Every Size® Healthcare Provider Listing
- Reduced rate memberships are available to emerging professionals (in the first three years of career; $170), BIPOC professionals ($170), low-income professionals ($70), and professionals living in low- or middle- income countries ($70)
Student, Community, and Retiree Membership ($95 USD Full Rate)
- Access to monthly education, member, and community events at no additional cost
- Access to the ASDAH Member Recording Library with dozens of past event and webinar recordings
- Reduced rate memberships ($45) are available to BIPOC members, low-income members, and members living in low- or middle- income countries

ASDAH is proud to offer scholarships to support our goals of equity and inclusion. Your financial donation in addition to the membership fee helps us expand our reach and support even more people with the Health at Every Size® model and ASDAH community. Join or donate today!

ASDAH Membership FAQ
How do I apply for a reduced rate?
The reduced rate application process is embedded in the ASDAH Membership Application. Follow these steps to apply for any reduced rate:
- Select either the Professional or Student/Retiree/Community tier (the full price will be displayed, but will be reduced after you complete the form)
- Complete all required information, including the Reduced Rate Application if you are applying for a reduced rate.
- At the end of the application, you will be prompted to input a discount code. Use the following codes:
- Emerging Professional: EMERGING (only available for the Professional Membership tier)
- Low Income Household (high income country residents) and Low/Middle Income Country Residents: LOWPRO (Professional tier) or LOWCOMM (student/community/retiree tier)
- BIPOC: BIPOCPRO (Professional tier) or BIPOCCOMM (student/community/retiree tier)
All reduced rates are subject to approval, including renewals.
