My Philosophy of Care

Care designed specifically for you. We firmly believe there is no “one-size-fits-all” nutrition plan for any problem. That is why our team is passionate about helping you heal in a way that fits your life, without unnecessary restrictions to your diet. Your voice guides our approach. We recognize you as the expert of your own body and lived experience. Our dietitians will take time to listen, understand, and honor what is most important to you and fine tune your care plan to meet your individual needs. We support you beyond the basics. We also understand that gut issues can have serious negative impacts on your mental health, quality of life, and your relationship with food. And, unfortunately, that’s not something any handout or internet search can solve.

About Me & My Practice

Destiny understands the profound impact that digestive issues can have on one's self-image and emotional well-being. In her sessions, she offers empathetic support and fosters a nurturing environment where her clients can embrace self-compassion and build a positive relationship with food and body. We love working with individuals who are ready to find relief from gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms and embrace a more positive relationship with food and their bodies. With a focus on empathy and understanding, our approach is about creating a safe space where you can feel supported and empowered to make lasting changes.

Accessibility Considerations

Our services are virtually-based, making it easier and more convenient to access nutrition therapy than in traditional settings. All of our staff are welcoming and inclusive of all individuals and body sizes. We do participating in a weight-centric health insurance system that occasionally requires us to document height and weight data or BMI as part of our assessment parameters. However, we obtain consent from all patients before discussing, asking for, documenting, or submitting this kind of potentially sensitive data.
