My Philosophy of Care
I am a liberationist, a complex trauma specialist and a witch. I offer therapy that is anti-racist, queer/trans-affirming, neurodivergent affirming, fat/body positive, anti-ableist, anti-oppressive, magical and liberatory. I believe and practice that all bodies have dignity and worth. I support folx in accessing the deep, regenerative healing that is our birthright.
As a trauma healer, I differentiate healing from health. Healing is about accessing the brilliance of the mending that is available to us magically and neurobiologically. Health, to me, is an intersectional experience that speaks to how different pathways of our ecosystem body may be affected by the human experience of inhabiting a body. Healthism, ableism and all other intersecting systems of oppression lie to us about our worthiness and about who we should be. Liberatory healing invites us to reclaim exactly who we are, in the exact bodies and health experiences that we have so that we can feel more free. As a HAES® aligned practitioner, I understand that health does not correlate with size, and that all bodies, regardless of size and health status, are deserving of dignity and worth, and that all of us can access healing.

About Me & My Practice
I am a queer fat nonbinary femme who practices at the intersections of oppression, grief, trauma and liberation. I believe that love is our most powerful magic and that healing happens in relationship.
I am dedicated to the fat liberation movement and to creating more safety for fat and superfat+ folx so that we can access the freedom that is our birthright. This is both personal (learning to feel free in my own fat body) and political (rooting my healing practice in the fertile soil of fat liberation). In the activist lineage of Fannie Lou Hamer, I know and practice that none of us are free until everybody's free.
I have spent more than 21 years in a deep study of how healing happens, learning to undo oppression while learning to co-create cultures of justice and belonging. My training has included intensive learnings in somatics, trauma healing, anti-oppressive practices, anti-racism, fat liberation, liberatory culture building, ritual and witchcraft. My therapy practice is a blending of liberatory healing practices rooted in the relational neurosciences, somatic wisdom, parts work, ancestral healing, magic and love. I accompany people in the deep work of making real what our souls know is possible.

Accessibility Considerations
My office is ADA accessible. I also see folx online and work with folx to create the relational conditions for safety in our work together. Currently, I am scheduling folx for trauma healing intensives only.
