My Philosophy of Care

Are your negative thoughts weighing you down? Are you feeling like you can't escape them? Are their judgements about what you are eating or what you look like coming up for you? You might even use food or drugs to cope. Or maybe you have made a lifestyle change and are struggling with the negative thoughts that come when you are less than perfect with your intentions. This can be a vicious cycle that takes it's toil on you. It might not feel like it but you can lessen the pain, quiet the negative thoughts, and find yourself again. Recovery is achievable no matter how long you have been battling. Your story matters. You will discover new ways to embrace your emotions while improving your relationships with others, self, and food. Together, we can work towards achieving self-acceptance, decreasing addictive behaviors, and building a lifestyle you want. I specialize in binge eating disorders, disordered eating, and self-esteem/worth. You don't have to hurt alone. I will be your biggest cheerleader helping you slay your inner critic and find your true voice. I might even throw in a bee pun or two so give me a buzz. I offer free consultations so we can see if it's a good fit, no hives attached. I approach health through the 8 dimensions of wellness that include physical, mental, occupational, financial, social, intellectual, spiritual, and emotional health.
