My Philosophy of Care

As a therapist, I am passionate about working with individuals to move away from self-criticism and toward self-compassion. Every human deserves a space to come as they are, and to feel safe when processing feelings and emotions. My hope as a provider is to always meet clients where they are at. I remind clients regularly that therapy isn't about "fixing ourselves", rather, it's about coming home to yourself, meeting yourself with compassion and understanding, and finding new ways to support ourselves. To me, Health is a spectrum that looks different for each person, and is not based on a person's appearance or identity. I use the lens of Health at Every Size® and intuitive eating (including what IE can look like for ND folks) and abide by the principles of ASDAH in working with all of my clients. I am a trauma-informed provider. To me, being trauma informed means creating (and keeping) safety. The foundation of trauma-informed care is transparency and authenticity while remaining compassionate for a person’s lived experiences. Every person deserves a space to come as they are, and to feel safe when processing feelings and emotions. As your therapist I vow to welcome all of the pieces that make you, you!

About Me & My Practice

My clients are folks who may struggle with self-criticism: exhibiting itself as increased daily anxiety; maybe in their relationship with food (disordered eating), body image struggles, people-pleasing/perfectionism, or shame around their sensitive nature. My specialities include working with Eating Disorders/Disordered Eating, ADHD, Anxiety, and HSPs/Empaths. I have received specialized training in weight-inclusive care and am committed to providing individualized care that addresses the unique needs and concerns of each patient.

Accessibility Considerations

My practice is fully virtual, and I am a sole provider. English is my primary language, and I do not have access to interpreters.
